This role is to support a child with high needs on a 1:1 basis. 

We are looking for someone to join our friendly and supportive team to work from 10am until 2pm each day with a KS1 child. This is a temporary and part-time role, linked to funding for a specific child.  

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, flexible and adaptable, with experience supporting children.  You will be required to work closely with the Class Teacher, to provide support for this pupil.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed, flexible and enthusiastic
  • Ideally be suitably qualified and have previous experience of working with children
  • Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
  • Be keen to work as part of a team and to be flexible in their approach to daily routine
  • Have the ability to plan and organise their time and work independently
  • Be capable of working alongside and with the Class Teacher
  • Be able to demonstrate in their application that they can fulfil the main duties of the job description and person specification as a minimum

 

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check along with other pre-employment checks which must be undertaken before the role is confirmed by the school.
