IT TECHNICIAN

PERMANENT - TERM TIME

 

This is a permanent position, term time only (38 weeks), plus 5 INSET days in the school holidays to be taken in arrangement with the Network Manager, on Kent Range 5 - £20,801 (pro rata 0.84 / £17,510.28).

 

The hours will be 37 per week (9am to 5pm).  The position is for 38 weeks per year and the post holder will have 26 days paid annual leave (rising to 28 days after five years’ service).  Annual leave days can only be taken when the school is closed to students.

 

The successful candidate will be passionate about IT and show a good understanding of technology. Advanced knowledge of computer hardware is expected and basic networking skills are required.  Working as part of the IT support team, duties will include supporting staff and students by troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software issues.

 

You should have a good level of education to at least GCSE standard or equivalent.
