Tiger Primary School have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for January/ February 2023 working 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm on a Friday. This role will be on a permanent basis for 38 weeks per year plus an additional five days.

Tiger Primary wish to appoint a motivated, committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Tiger Family. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, hardworking team. We are a school determined to achieve the very highest of standards for all of our learners.

The successful applicant will be able to lead whole class learning, support teachers and build positive relationships with all stake holders. They will have experience of, and a keen interest in, EYFS and Key Stage One, but will also be willing to cover classes in KS2. They will also be able to work well under direction use their own initiative and be full of patience, care and respect for all Tiger Children.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience of working with children in EYFS and KS1
  • Have GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths
  • Be motivated and able to use their own initiative
  • Be willing to be part of a team and to value all children
  • Be positive and will be a strong role model for our children
