Teacher of Vocational Studies

Goodwin Academy are seeking a Teacher of Vocational subjects encompassing Business Studies, Enterprise and Marketing and ICT to join their vibrant and engaging, state of the art mixed Academy based in the heart of Deal.  The successful candidate will be expected to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support the subject areas as appropriate.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Be a qualified Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to vocational subjects and be Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities  
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
