Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm 

Weeks: 39 weeks (Term Time plus 5 inset days)

Salary: KR4 £16751 actual (FTE £19,389 - £20,493)

Contract: Permanent

We are looking to appoint an approachable, capable and hardworking Receptionist / Office Administrator to provide a warm welcome to our parents, visitors, staff and children, demonstrating the exceptional standards of care, professionalism and friendliness we expect at The Brent.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a friendly, welcoming  persona
  • be an organised and self-motivated team member, able to prioritise and multi-task
  • have excellent communication skills
  • have strong IT skills
  • enjoy working with children

The successful candidate will provide a warm welcome to every member of our school community, both on the phone and in person.  They will also play a role in ensuring pupils’ attendance is accurately recorded each morning in Arbor and provide support to the rest of the school, as part of an effective office team. 

The successful candidate should have had previous experience of working within a school environment. Excellent typing skills, knowledge of relevant computer software and a good level of education, including GCSE English and Maths, are essential. The post requires the ability to be methodical, organised and the ability to prioritise work within a busy environment.

A caring, patient and understanding approach and a good sense of humour are essential. We are seeking to appoint a 'Brent' person: someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, resourceful and full of energy!

We provide quality support and appropriate professional development.  A First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
