Learning Support Assistant(s)

We are recruiting additional Learning Support Assistant(s) to support the Teaching and Learning for students in KS2 at Long Mead Community Primary School

The hours are;

08:30 - 13:00 Monday to Friday 

13:00 - 15:00 Monday to Thursday

We are open to apllicants who wish to work the full days or mornings / afternoons. This is a term time only post with a salary of Kent Range 3/4: £19,293.00 - £20,493.00 per annum pro rata.

We are looking for someone with high personal and professional standards with drive and energy and commitment. To help build on the current inclusive and caring ethos of the school, to ensure that every child achieves their full potential. Experience of working with a KS2 child with learning difficulties would be an advantage.

Information about the school

Long Mead C. P. School is situated in Tonbridge. Its situation is excellent, having a large playing field and playgrounds, surrounded by woodlands yet close to the town. Forest School Studies are now offered on site as part of our curriculum using our wonderful grounds, and our own trained member of staff.

We have one of the few integral nursery schools in Kent enabling all children to benefit by being part of the school community from the age of three.

Long Mead is joined with Hugh Christie School to form the Tonbridge Federation. The Federation has a joint governing body and is managed by an Executive Principal (Mr Jon Barker) Long Mead pupils benefit from being in a federation as it gives our pupils access to resources not usually available in a small primary school and also benefits from joint activities across the two schools.
