Dunton Green Primary School is looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant in February 2023 to start work with individual children and small groups who may need additonal support in the classroom. The job description has key aspects that we are looking for to further develop across the school. We ask candidates to clearly identify in their applications their interest/specialism/experience against these aspects.

The position will be 3 days a week Wednesday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm 19.5 hours p/w, term time only.

The salary is KR3 £19.293 (pro rata). Strong applications may be shortlisted earlier for interview.

We are a one form entry school. Our TA will work to ensure the very best outcomes for all our children. We can offer commitment to individual professional development as well as being part of a friendly, hardworking and committted team of teachers, support staff and leadership.

Full enhanced DBS and references will be required and the successful applicant will need to complete a health check and also child protection and prevent training. Although the post is term time only, there is a requirement to attend a one day inset every September for statutory safeguarding training.
