Advert

Burham CEP School is seeking a new member of the team to replace an established teacher who has decided to move on to different things.

The post becomes available after the February break and is being offered as a temporary or permanent position depending on availability. We appreciate the complexities around teacher resignation dates and that you may not be available to take up post until after Easter - this is something we will consider for the right person.

Ideally, we are looking for an exciting KS2 teacher with proven experience. A love of English and PE would be advantageous but nowhere near as important as a love of teaching and a determination for your children to succeed at everything you throw at them.

We are a very small school in beautiful surroundings. Our current class sizes average around 20 children. Parents and governors are very supportive.

We would love to welcome you to see the school and meet us and to be able to answer any further questions you may have.

Information about the school

Burham Church of England Primary School is a small school set in beautiful countryside. We are a distinctive church school based within the Rochester Diocese.

Our vision if for all our children at Burham CEP School to ‘Shine’. We believe that all children should be given opportunities to ‘Shine’ and discover their true unique potential through rich, engaging new experiences that enable them to be successful, happy and independent.

At Burham Church of England Primary School we respect, value and include each and everybody. It is our aim to provide children with a safe, happy learning environment in which every member of the school community will thrive. Our aim is for children to build enriching relationships and become responsible, caring and successful citizens.

We are a caring and friendly team who are very supportive of each other. We have high expectations of ourselves as well as the children, as evidenced through our last Ofsted inspection.

We are very close to Bluebell Hill as well as connected to the Peters Village bridge between Wouldham and Halling. The school is within easy reach of both the M2 and M20 motorways and therefore easily accessible from the Medway or Maidstone area.
