Brasted Pre-School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our team. 

Are you passionate about early years education?

Do you want to gain a childcare qualification to learn the necessary skills, getting experience of working as part of a team and directly with children, and actively supporting young children as they learn through play?

If so, our Early Years Apprentice opportunity could be the perfect match for you!

 

What you will be doing:

  • Working as part of our small, hardworking, committed, and experienced team
  • Building positive relationships and communicating effectively with children, staff, and parents
  • Assisting in create and planning play and learning opportunities that support the children’s learning and development
  • Being responsible for any tasks assigned to you by the Pre-school Manager
  • Promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
  • Working alongside your Mentor and Assessor throughout your training to successfully complete a formal Early Years Level 2 or 3 Qualification.

Information about the school

Brasted Pre-school is a term-time only Pre-school setting based at the Pavilion in the village of Brasted near Sevenoaks. We are open 5 days a week between the hours of 9am and 3pm for children aged 2 yrs 4 months to 5 years. We provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment within which our children are free to lead their own learning with the support of committed, experienced and enthusiastic practitioners. Our Pre-school is based in beautiful natural surroundings providing opportunities for the children to explore the outdoor space in the nearby woodlands and at our allotment.

Our setting is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
