We are looking to recruit a part time PPA teacher to cover PPA time across the school, working on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  We are seeking a teacher who can teach Art or Computing across the school, from EYFS to Year 6. We welcome applications from experienced teachers and those with subject specialisms.   Visits to the school are encouraged and can be arranged via the school office on 01732 863787 ext 0.


You will be:

  • A teacher with experiences in primary phases and knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • A highly effective practitioner who is passionate about education and driven to make continuous improvements to their practice.
  • An excellent role model for staff and pupils.
  • A team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

At The Pioneer Academy, we take the wellbeing and mental health of our staff seriously which is why we are committed to regular reviews of staff well-being and reducing staff workload.   We have increased our PPA offer this year to up to 5 hours for full time teachers, and regular additional release time scheduled for all subject leaders across the school.  We create bespoke career pathways for every member of staff, identifying and growing talent, with outstanding professional development opportunities at every stage of your career.  We also have an Employee Assistance Programme with a range of resources to support wellbeing which is available to all employees and their immediate family members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
