Brunswick House Primary School is looking to appoint premises staff.

We are recruiting for a part time caretaker/handyman to join our school Premises Team: Monday to Friday, 2pm until 6.30pm

We are looking for applicants with a range of skills in relevant maintenance and DIY related tasks. 

You will work as part of a small team helping to manage the school building and premises; supporting the site manager with health and safety, site maintenance and security, utilities and contractors. 

You may be a competent DIY enthusiast with a range of maintenance/repair skills who is looking for that perfect part time job to keep your skills fresh and to make a difference to the children of our school and their accomodation.

We are able to provide training to support any areas of this post that might be new to you.

The school needs self-motivated candidates who are able to demonstrate that they are active, versatile, well organised and reliable, with clear communication skills.

Some duties are physical in nature and include outside working. You should, therefore, be comfortable lifting furniture, equipment and deliveries to statutory limits. 

Flexibility around your hours to help with planned school functions are, at times, part of this role.

The contract is all year round working, with holiday time allocated.
