Leigh Academy Rainham is a newly built school which opened to pupils in September 2021 and Leigh Academies Trust is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated person to take on the extremely important role of Site Manager at the Academy.

This is a varied and exciting role, overseeing day-to-day operations at the Academy. The successful candidate must have experience of working in a site or estates role. You will also have good attention to detail, be practical, methodical, approachable and able to converse and direct site staff and contractors accordingly, therefore, being able to communicate effectively is essential for this role. A knowledge of Health and Safety is also essential to this role.

Information about the school

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
