Shears Green Junior School is looking to appoint a teaching assistant (KR3) for 27 hours 05 mins.  This post will be, initially, a fixed term position, which will start from 3rd January 2023 until 31st December 2023.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with pupils with SEN and delivering interventions, or someone willing to train.
  • Has a strong belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background.
  • Is patient and understanding of the children’s needs
  • Is able to work well as a team member whilst using their initiative and working independently when required.
  • Is flexible, hardworking and highly reliable with excellent communication skills
  • Is determined to provide the very best outcomes for the children with whom they work
  • Uses their good sense of humour to maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
  • Have a good understanding of numeracy, literacy and ICT.
  • Have GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent
