Cover Supervisor

Salary: TSAT Pay Group 3 £22,818 - £26,997 (Pro rata £20,042 - £23,713 for hours and weeks stated) - Please note this is subject to agreement in line with September 2022 salary increases but the amounts shown are a minimum  of what you will earn and if any changes are made they will be increases on the amount shown.   

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent, full or part time considered (minimum 3 days) 37 hours a week (term-time only plus 5 INSET days) 

 

We require a Cover Supervisor to join Goodwin Academy, you will provide cover for absent teaching staff and facilitate the learning by Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

You will be required to supervise whole classes, assisting students in undertaking pre-planned learning activities. This is a great opportunity if you are pursuing a career as a Classroom Teacher or a Teaching Assistant as this role will provide experience of working in a classroom and interacting with students.

  • Effective ICT skills 
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to motivate and to support learning
  • Additional language skills would be beneficial to support our diverse student population.
  •  Previous experience of working with young people is desirable and the ability to contribute to the wider life of the school will be an advantage.
