A vacancy has arisen for a Mid Day Supervisor to join our school from January 2023.

 We are looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team to supervise children in the playground, and to encourage children to engage through play and interact positively with each other at lunch times. No experience is necessary and full training will be provided. This job involves outdoor playground supervision in all weather.

 You will need to be trustworthy, flexible and be able to work with all members of the school community. You will also be expected to adhere to the school’s policy for behaviour management and act as a respectful role model when speaking and listening to children.

 The post is term time only, 5 days a week for 1.5 hours per day (midday to 1.30pm on Kent Range Point 3 (depending on experience).

Information about the school

We are a large, lively junior school with a friendly, enthusiastic and happy staff. We are a three form entry school and our teachers enjoy the opportunity to work as a year group team, sharing expertise and supporting one another. Staff professional development is encouraged and opportunities provided.

Roseacre Junior School is a Foundation school with extensive grounds situated in the village of Bearsted. We have a computing suite with 35 computers. Ipads are also available for classroom use. We have a lovely new outdoor classroom to enhance children's learning experiences.
