Meopham Community Academy, a part of The Pathway Academy Trust, is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our talented and supportive team!

The role will see you working as part of our Inclusion Team supporting children with additional needs across the school and, therefore, this is a temporary position linked to High Needs Funding. 

The position is Monday-Friday, from 8:30am-3:30pm with the full-time salary for this role currently paid at £19,293 (FTE), pro-rated to £14,265.13 for 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks a year- term time only.

We are looking for someone who is:  

  • able to contribute to, and work as part of a team  
  • ideally has experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions
  • passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential  
  • Ideally hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent
  • 100% committed to inclusion for all children, no matter their needs or abilities
  • excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude.

Meopham Community Academy is a two form entry primary school set in a beautiful village location and the school prides itself on providing a happy, safe and caring environment for all its pupils.
