We are looking for a part- time KS1 teacher to join our amazing team on a permanent basis!

The children of Hollingbourne Primary think that a teacher who joins our school family must:

  • Be kind
  • Listen carefully
  • Make us feel safe
  • Join in with all our unique activities like egg rolling and singing at the O2
  • Love to play and learn outside (and have a talent for building camps!)
  • Help us to keep going and never give up because we know growth mindset is important
  • Encourage us to make mistakes, to have a go again if we get things ‘wrong’
  • To show us that we are important individuals within a class
  • Enable us to learn in different ways and with different people
  • Give us responsibilities
  • Let us show you that we can...

The leaders of Hollingbourne Primary think that a teacher who joins our learning community must:

  • Share a belief that we are developing the whole child- their heart and their mind
  • Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with children
  • Have high expectations and believe that every child can
  • Be flexible
  • Be approachable and communicate clearly with a wider range of stake holders
  • Work well as a team, particularly as this role is a job share
  • Be able to adapt quickly to situations in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom
  • Be reflective and show a commitment to further developing practice
  • Be a teacher with a great track record of class progress and attainment

If you think this describes you, then we welcome your application and encourage you to contact me via e-mail to discuss the post further and arrange a virtual tour of the school!

This post is for two days per week (Monday and Tuesday), plus PPA time.

Information about the school

The school has been graded Good by OFSTED in March 2022. Please have a look at our OFSTED report as it sings about the strengths of the school and the ethos we hold.
