Advert

Valley Invicta Academies Trust (VIAT) consists of an exceptional cluster of five primary and four secondary schools at the heart of the local community. Four of our five primary schools have KCC Commissioned Specialist Resource Provisions (SRPs) for pupils with EHCP's and a primary need of Autism.  We put the children at the very centre of all we do. Our staff are equally at the heart of our schools.

We are now recruiting for SEN/SRP Teachers to work within our well-established primary ASD SRPs.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion and interest in SEN, particularly in meeting the needs of pupils with autism, to join our successful and dedicated team of specialist ASD staff, working closely with the Lead SRP Teacher, to contribute to the development of effective practices.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and effective practitioner to join our team.

This person will have a sense of purpose, positive outlook and have the ability to support and develop inclusive and person-centred approaches for pupils with ASD.

The successful candidate will receive encouragement, support and guidance to develop their own career within the Trust, which prides itself on 'growing its own' talent.  This is a unique opportunity to join our well established specialist teams for someone who is interested in developing their own expertise and career within SEN.

We warmly invite visits to our school to see how we work and to find out more about the role.

Please complete the application form using the link below and submit to hr@viat.org.uk quoting the school and job reference number shown above.

Valley Invicta Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare. It expects all staff and volunteers to share this same commitment. Any appointment is subject to satisfactory recruitment checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

A copy of our school's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy may be found here.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
