We have a vacancy for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant here with us at Sandwich Infant School

You will work alongside a strong team of teachers and teaching assistants in a Reception classroom, supporting a child with SEMH needs. You will be delivering interventions around these needs, as well as supporting the child’s engagement in lessons.

Experience of working with children with a range of SEMH needs would be beneficial, but not essential.  A flexible approach is essential as well as initiative and the ability to take forward ideas. You will need to be diverse in your approaches and be able to think both proactively and reactively to situations.

This position is Monday-Friday, term time only, 8:45am to 3:00pm. (26.25 hours per week). The job is linked to high needs funding, and will therefore be a temporary position for one year in the first instance.

Closing date for applications is Wednesday 19th October 2022. We welcome visits to the school prior to application.

Interviews will take place Thursday 3rd November 2022, with an immediate start.

All applications to be made via Kent-Teach.
