Job Summary:

Aylesford School is seeking to recruit an excellent Teacher of French to join our innovative and highly collaborative Humanities department.

The successful candidate must be talented and committed, with the character, skills and drive necessary to inspire our students and the ability to deliver engaging lessons of the highest quality.

There will be opportunities to teach at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 as we continue to grow our popular and successful subjects.

Our school vision is to provide quality academic and 'Character Education' which develops confident young people who are successful learners and contribute positively to society.

Our school has been on a journey of rapid improvement which has recently been recognised by OFSTED. We are a non-selective school in the heart of Kent with growing numbers of students each year. We are passionate about providing a world class education to our students and have a lot of support from parents, governors and the leadership structure in the school to be able to do this. Our staff team is a friendly and supportive one where creativity in the classroom and effective working relationships are key.

The French department is a great team doing a brilliant job. Students enjoy French our results have improved due to our strong curriculum and quality of teaching. We now need one further teacher to complete the team and maintain the high standards of teaching and learning which are already present in the department.

The position is suitable for a qualified and experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher who is looking for opportunities to grow and flourish as a teacher.

We also offering a Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £2000 to the successful candidate.

This is a full-time position, however flexible working hours will be considered.
