We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a large and dynamic team at Grove Park Primary School.  If you are experienced, enthusiastic and adaptable and able to bring out and nurture the best potential in our pupils aged 4-11, you may be our ideal candidate.

 The hours of duty are from 8.40-3.25, Monday to Friday, term time only - a total of 28.75 hours per week.

 This role will involve you to work with the whole class, groups of pupils or support children on 1:1 basis and deliver intervention programs.

 You will be our desirable candidate if:

  • You have experience of working with children (ideally in a school setting) and have an understanding of children’s development;
  • You have maths and English GCSEs A*-C;
  • You are proactive and be flexible;
  • You are team player who is also committed to the wider life of the school;
  • You are a clear communicator with adults and children;
  • You are a positive role model to all.
