Churchill Primary School are searching for the right person to lead, manage and develop 'Chillies' Club - our wrap-around care provision. 

The club runs from 8-8.30am each morning and from 3.15pm - 6pm each afternoon, with the successful candidate working for 21¼ hours per week from 7.45am–8.45am and 2.45pm–6pm.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a clear vision of how they see the club developing best practice in wrap-around care
  • has a personality which balances calm, firm and fair, with friendly and approachable.
  • has excellent people skills to manage other adults as well as liaise and work with parents
  • builds appropriate, warm and positive relationships with children
  • is creative with lots of ideas to keep the club varied, stimulating and interesting over time
  • is receptive to new suggestions, professional development and feedback, as well as having a willingness to complete professional development to further their own skillset
  • has a good understanding of health and safety

In addition to 'Chillies' daily wrap around provision, there is a potential opportunity for the right candidate to develop a holiday club provision programme during school holidays and half terms.

We are proud of our fabulous one-form entry primary school, which serves the community of Westerham, a charming market town in Kent. The school, which is situated in amazing grounds, attained Ofsted "Good" in Jan 2020, and is continuing to grow from strength to strength.

We provide a safe and caring environment for our children where they can thrive, whilst promoting Christian and British values.
