Kingsdown and Ringwould CEP School is looking to appoint a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our forward thinking and hardworking team.

The position is part time for 22.5hrs, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 1.00pm, term time only. Actual salary £9,876.

If you have a desire to be an outstanding Teaching Assistant and provide the best possible learning experiences for young children so that they are able to fulfil their greatest potential, this role could be the one for you!

The role is providing 1:1 support to an individual child. An interest/experience in speech and language would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will:

Have a good understanding of, and experience of working in a primary school

Be an excellent practitioner, enthusing and inspiring children.

Be able to support the class teacher effectively ensuring a positive impact on pupil progress and productivity.

Have a high expectation of attainment and behaviour.

Understand and value the importance of their role in the wider picture of whole school improvement.

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Have the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with parents.
