Astor School requires an enthusiastic candidates with Mathematics and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent.  We are seeking a TA who is willing to work with a range of SEND students to support them to become independent learners and you must be confident in your ability to work with targeted individuals and small groups to provide intervention in Literacy and Numeracy.  You must be patient, caring and willing to think on your feet.  You will need to be able to work independently as well as part of the SEN team.

Kent Range 3 (pro rata £14,640.54) 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (term time plus development days). Hours of work will be 08:30 to 15:30 with half an hour for lunch.  Annual leave is not to be taken during term time and will therefore be paid in addition to salary.  Holiday pay is pro rata, plus 8 bank holidays and 1 concessionary day.
