We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic support staff team for 25 hours per week, fixed term until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will join our team of class based Teaching Assistants who also share responsibility for supporting some of our children who require some 1:1 or personalised provision at different points in the school day. This post is to support in our Early Years provision.

We have an excellent SENCo who will offer training, guidance and expertise. Our teachers and TAs are also knoweldgable and supportive and work together as a team to ensure that every child can succeed.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the desire and drive to work with children
  • Has some experience working with primary aged children
  • Is patient and kind
  • Can demonstrate some understanding of how to support children with additional need
  • Understands the importance of the need for safeguarding the health and well-being of all pupils
  • Upholds the school's policies and procedures with regard to child protection adn safeguarding 
  • An understanding of the importance of the need for safeguarding the health and well-being of all pupils within the school and upholding the school's policies and procedures, in regards to child protection and safeguarding, is an essential requirement for the role.
