EKST Project Lead

Starting October 2022

17 hours per week, circa 38 weeks per year, during state school term time

East Kent Schools Together launched in September 2017 and is a unique partnership of state and independent schools and a university, working together to raise aspirations and widen horizons for children in East Kent. The schools currently in the partnership: St. Anselm’s RC School, St. Edmund’s School, Canterbury, Spires Academy, The King’s School, Folkestone Academy and St. Lawrence College, Ramsgate, Dover Christ Church Academy, Herne Bay High School, The Abbey School, The Archbishop’s School, together with Canterbury Christ Church University.

The position of Project Lead is part time, requiring 17 hours a week, timing to be flexible as required, to manage the activities of the partnership. The successful candidate will be a good communicator and problem-solver, organised, IT literate and give excellent attention to detail.

Information about the school

Located on the southern fringes of the historic city of Canterbury, St Anselm's is a happy and successful wide ability school, catering for those who wish to receive a Catholic education. The school has a large catchment area extending from Ashford to Herne Bay and from Wingham to Faversham. It is regularly over-subscribed. The Sixth Form, numbering 150 students, offers a wide range of Advanced level and vocational courses. In September 2004 the school became a specialist school for Science, though retaining its Catholic ethos.
