Trottiscliffe CE Primary School needs a new School Secretary, with excellent interpersonal skills and  strong IT knowledge. And either a good knowledge of school administration already, or a willingness to learn.

 

Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, term-time, with 1 hour unpaid for lunch. 39 weeks per year (term-time)

Salary: KR5

Start date: October 2022.

Alternatively, the hours could be shared between two applicants so there is some flexibility to suit the right candidates.

We have delightful children and highly committed staff with a love for our small, family school with a big heart. The role of School Secretary is central to the smooth running of the school; a good secretary is a highly valued and essential member of our team.

We are a small school, tucked away in a beautiful village, although accessible by main roads, with a strong Anglican ethos based on key values such as respect and compassion.

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.

Set in a quiet lane near the centre of the village, Trottiscliffe CE Primary School is at the heart of the church and village communities. Our small village school with its strong Christian ethos based on our key values of wisdom, respect, hope and community, enjoys its beautiful rural location whilst being situated less than five minutes from the A20 and M20.

Our school is an exciting place to be, constantly improving as reflected in our Good judgement from Ofsted in September 2022, and our Outstanding judgement from our Church Schools Inspection in 2018.
