Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough is looking for a nurturing, caring and skilled individual who is passionate about improving the life chances of children.

We have two roles available working with pupils with complex needs. If you have a calm, measured personality, the ability to think on your feet and a positive mindset then this could be the job for you!

The hours will be, Mon – Friday 8.30 am until 3.30pm (32.5 hours – half an hour for lunch).


Mon – Friday 8.30am until 1.30pm (25 hrs) pro rata £11,721.

Working with children who have additional needs can be challenging but also extremely rewarding. At East Borough, we use a range of strategies and interventions to support our children to access learning at a level that is appropriate for them. Full training and support would be given. We also offer supervision for staff working 1:1 with pupils.

This role is linked to High Needs Funding which is why it is temporary.

Information about the school

East Borough is a popular two form entry Primary School with a friendly, caring ethos in the centre of Maidstone. It is set in large grounds, with beautifully maintained buildings and outside areas.
