We have a vacancy for an energetic and proactive Key Stage 1 class teacher who would like to be part of an enthusiastic, committed team. This post is a part-time post for two days per week, Thursday and Friday, and will be from the start in January 2023. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both days and PPA time (which can be done at home) will be paid as additional time worked. Please note the days in class are not negotiable due to the needs of the school. ECTs and experienced teachers are very welcome to apply.

Ightham Primary School received a full Ofsted inspection in 2020 and achieved an outstanding grading in all areas.

  • An extensive knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum.
  • A reflective, caring practitioner who maintains very high expectations.

Ightham Primary School is situated in an idyllic rural setting and caters for up to 210 pupils accommodated in seven classes. We place the children, who are well behaved and motivated, at the heart of everything that we do. They benefit from many opportunities to take part in the excellent range of academic, physical and creative activities that we offer, both during and at the end of the school day.

We received an Ofsted inspection in March 2020 and the school was graded as outstanding in all areas.
