Here at Bromstone Primary School we have an exciting and unique opportunity for a highly-skilled, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team in our 'ESTA' (Enhanced Specialist Teaching Arrangment). Our ESTA is a wonderful provision for children with speech, language, communication and/or developmental needs. Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs is essential. 

You will be fully supported in the role by working in a team of experienced practitioners and must be willing to use your skills and talents to help foster a love of learning, independence and strong self-belief in every child. You must also be passionate about inclusion, and the nurture and wellbeing of the whole child. In exchange we can offer you happy, enthusiastic and well-behaved children and a supportive staff team who are passionate about Bromstone and its ethos; Dream Believe Achieve.

The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable and hardworking. They will be able to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the passion to make a difference to the lives of the children at our school. 

The post will be for 30 hours per week, term-time only. This post is temporary for one year in the first instance. Previous applicants are welcome to reapply.

Bromstone is a Co-operative Foundation Primary School which believes strongly in the Co-operative ethos. As part of Thanet Endeavour Learning Trust we work in very close partnership with St Mildred’s Infant School with whom we are federated, and with Garlinge Primary School. We share our Executive Headteacher with Garlinge, St Mildred’s and Parkside Schools.

Bromstone has a well-developed creative curriculum, which provides our children with exciting opportunities for learning, both in the classroom and in the wider environment. We place high value on the Arts and outdoor learning; we have an established Forest School in our grounds.
