As a school, we are at the forefront of technology in the classroom, but you will find innovation everywhere in terms of curriculum delivery, subject-specialist teaching, and pastoral care. Our children are provided with a 1:1 computing device for use at home and at school and this has had a transformative effect on pupil outcomes, attendance, and parental engagement.

You will be supported by The Primary First Trust to achieve the highest of educational standards for the setting.   We are a Trust that truly celebrates and nurtures the diversity and distinctiveness of its partner schools. We are a growing MAT of 10 individual primaries across Bexley, Gravesham, and Medway.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passionate belief in inclusion and an exceptional understanding of how to support all children to achieve their very best.
  • Has achieved or willing to achieve the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinator qualification.
  • Is dynamic and enthusiastic and can ensure children achieve the highest standards through innovative teaching. Is committed to raising standards with high expectations of all children.
  • Has excellent communication skills and is able to work with staff to develop their pedagogy in a supportive yet challenging way.

We can offer:

  • A commitment to your professional development and future career through superb CPD opportunities in the school and across the Trust.
  • A positive working environment with a strong focus on staff and pupil wellbeing. Motivated and engaged children who are keen to learn.
  • Professional, hardworking, and motivated team of teachers and support staff committed to developing and raising standards.
  • A positive school community that will support you to be successful in your role.
  • One staff wellbeing day.
