Are you looking for a challenge?  Do you enjoy working with children?  Are you currently a HLTA looking to work in a different setting or are you ready to take that next step in your career?

Well, Christ Church CEP Academy could be the school for you!  We are looking for a HLTA to join our dedicated team to make a difference to the lives of our children.

The role is Full-Time (32.5 hours a week) and responsbilities will include (but not limited to):

  • PPA Cover
  • Group Intervention
  • Covering classes for Staff Absence
  • Planning and preparing and teaching Curriculum Lessons
  • Supporting and developing children with different needs
  • Working with a larger team

The role will be primarily based in our Starfish Classroom which supports children with EHCPs.  The majority of the children are based in class for their learning but you will be instrumental in supporting those children throughout the school day by providing emotional and academic support when necessary.

The candiate should have the HLTA qualification already but, if not, we are happy to support the right candidate to complete this next year.  The candidate MUST have school experience and experience of working in/covering classes.

Please contact the Headteacher (Robin Flack) or the SENCo (Rebecca Hogben) for further information.
