The Headteachers of this excellent academy are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and popular school.

We are looking for an ambitious and creative individual with a commitment to improving outcomes for all our children and who are also able to demonstrate a strong understanding of supporting children.

The position is for a full time Teaching Assistant (27.5 hours per week) to work term time only.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to model our school values by having excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to the individual needs of the children
  • Be committed to raising standards
  • Be able to liaise closely with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community
  • Be able to use initiative and have the ability to problem solve
