Salary: £17,737 - £18,514 Pro Rata (£20,532 - £21,431 FTE) SAT 4

Term Time only plus 5 Staff Development Days – 37 hours per week.

We have an opportunity to appoint a confident, caring and organised person to join our pastoral team in the role of Lead First Aider.

This role will require the applicants to assess the medical and welfare needs of students and staff and administer front-line First Aid.

The successful candidate will ensure that pupils with ongoing medical needs are supported in school in line with their Individual Health Care Plans, administer approved medication and maintain records and reports, including those for statutory requirements.

Applicants must hold a full First Aid certificate or be willing to work towards this.

This is a highly rewarding and, at times, challenging role.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Is well organised and can document clear records;
  • Relishes the challenge of working with young people;
