We are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic and patient. Experience in EYFS and or KS1 desirable. 

This is a part-time temporary appointment for, 27.5 hours a week, (8:30 - 3:15 5 days per week), term time only (38 weeks and 2 days per year). 

Whilst you will be expected to work under the direction of the class teacher you will also have the ability to use your own initiative to organise tasks and activities; creating simple resources to support the pupil’s work as appropriate. You will work closely with the class teacher as well as the School’s SEN support

We are looking for a person who is calm, kind, patient and who:

  • is experienced in communicating with young pupils and those with learning difficulties
  • is cheerful, positive and enthusiastic about working with children
  • a good standard of education together with good numeracy and literacy skills. With English and Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • experience in EYFS and or KS1 desirable. 
  • excellent interpersonal skills and a be good team player
  • good communication skills
  • flexibility
