Advert

We are looking for a talented key stage two teacher to join our small team at Ulcombe Church of England Primary School. The class is a small mixed age class of year 16 year 5 and 6 pupils. Our  small village school has 65 pupils in total.  We are a 'Good' school and have maintained that status for the past two Ofsted inspections.  We are also rated good in Siams.

Ulcombe is part of the Aspire Federation which is made up of four small rural schools so there are opporunities to work with colleagues who teach the same mixed year groups. The Aspire curriculum is designed to support mixed age teaching, as we have subject leaders who work across the federation to provide support. Although mixed age teaching does come with some challenges the rewards of working in a small school are unparalled!

We are looking for a teacher with experience in Key stage 2 and preferrable mixed age teaching. For the right candidate subject leaderhip can be offered. There is a TLR available if you have the skills to be able to lead in a subject area.
