The University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking to recruit an experienced and proactive individual for the role of Teaching Assistant at Brompton Academy, to support student learning and ensure positive outcomes for those students who struggle with accessing the curriculum. This is a permanent role for 30 hours per week, term time only.   

 

You will be part of a team delivering and assisting in the learning of students across the Trust in a variety of settings; including whole class support or identified students on a 1-1 basis or small groups of students. This role will involve working with teachers to plan, prepare and deliver learning activities, as well as monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on student progress and development. 

 

You will need to be confident, resilient, approachable and a good communicator as you will be required to liaise with students, staff and parents/carers. Above all we are looking for individuals who have a commitment and passion for raising the achievement of all students regardless of their ability and who care about student wellbeing and sense of purpose - vibrant and energetic individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of our students and want to be a part of our team.
