Advert

Brunswick House Primary School is looking to appoint premises staff.

We are looking for either part time or full time premises staff (2 positions) and want to appoint applicants with a range of proven skills and expertise in relevant maintenance and DIY related tasks.

You will work as part of a small team: either leading the management of the preimses and grounds or helping to manage the school building and premises; supporting leaders with health and safety, site maintenance and security, utilities and contractors.

You may already have experience of planning site management works, obtaining costings and quotes and quality assuring the results. You may, alternatively, be a competent DIY enthusiast with a range of maintenance/repair skills.

We are able to provide training to support any areas of these posts that might be new to you.

The school needs self-motivated candidates who are able to demonstrate that they are active, versatile, well organised and reliable, with clear communication skills.

Some duties are physical in nature and include outside working. You should, therefore, be comfortable lifting furniture, equipment and deliveries to statutory limits.

Flexibility around your hours to help with planned school functions are, at times, part of these roles.

The hours for these posts are negotiable. The contract is all year round working with holiday time allocated.

Please read the attached Person Specifications carefully to see examples of skills in more detail.

Please make sure you state which role you are applying for at the top of your application form.
