At The Brent we are excited to have begun our transformation of lunchtimes and provision of play for our children.  We are seeking to appoint an individual who understands the importance of play and will be able to support and facilitate the play process.  They will join our Play Team and work under the direction of the Play Lead.

10 hours a week: 11.30 to 1.30 Monday to Friday. Term Time only (38 weeks per year)

Start: As soon as possible

The successful candidate will need to be reliable, flexible, work well in a team and be committed to making lunch time experiences fun and engaging for all children.

All children and young people need to play. The impulse to play is innate, it is fundamental to the healthy development and well-being of individuals.  Research shows that play contributes to children’s physical and emotional health, well-being, approach to learning and enjoyment of school.

Your Opportunity:

We are looking for someone who can follow the vision of the Play Team and help deliver high quality and well supervised play activities during lunchtime.

The successful candidate will support the active supervision of children in the dining and play areas to ensure the welfare and safety of children during school lunch breaks.

We are looking for a pro-active individual to work collaboratively and flexibly within our team, build good working relationships with both children and adults and demonstrate a respectful and caring attitude towards all our children.  Be keen to bring new ideas for how to raise the profile of play, physical activity and social communication.
