SENCO

We are seeking to appoint a SENCO to our successful school which has a high reputation for pastoral care. You will be a strategic leader with a “hands on” approach and exceptional communication skills. You will be expected to draw on best practice, working within the ethos of UK and international Ursuline schools.

Proven experience of supporting young people with a variety of needs is essential for this post, as is the ability to lead a team of teaching assistants, a key aspect of the role.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS enhanced disclosure check prior to the start of employment.

Visits to the school are welcomed.

Ursuline College is situated in Westgate-on-Sea, Kent. There is a fast rail service to London and the historic city of Canterbury is only 11 miles away.

The Ursuline is part of a cluster of three secondary schools within the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership multi-academy trust.
