We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who shares our vision and commitment to ensuring the very best for every child in our care. We are looking for someone with a sense of humour who is self-motivated, organised, flexible and able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

The successful candidate needs to be an articulate and influential communicator, have proven financial management skills, possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders in the school – children, staff, parents and Governors. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of the school budget and school fund bank account
  • Managing the payment systems for the school. 
  • Preparing for budget meetings and providing financial reports
  • Procurement management: including processing orders and invoices in line with established financial procedures
  • Work alongside the Office Manager and provide front of house duties to parents and visitors as required
  • Aspects of HR management: including adherence to robust recruitment procedures and processing of staff contracts, absence and overtime/expense claims
  • Identifying fundraising opportunities to further generate income for the school and promoting our school within the local community

Hours: Between 13-19.5 hours per week (to be discussed based on the successful candidate’s experience). Days to be agreed. 

9am – 4pm which includes half an hour unpaid lunch break

Start date: December 2022/January 2023
