We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous team at Painters Ash Primary School. This is a term time only position for 30 hours per week, 5 days a week. FTE salary £19293.00 per annum, actual salary approx £13,500.00 per annum.

Purpose of the Job:

To make a real difference to children's learning and progress by supporting class teaching, assisting in providing a learning environment that enables all children to learn to the best of their ability, to support all children's well-being and to lead intervention groups.

The ideal Candidate will:

have experience of working with children
be motivated and contribute to the ethos of our friendly school
be a good team player with good interpersonal skills
have good numeracy and literacy skills
be able to work with teachers and work independently to support children.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who can:

support invididuals and groups in whole class activities, helping all children to achieve their best
establish supportive, caring and secure relationships with children, promoting respect, self-esteem and a positive, inclusive whole school ethos
lead intervention groups in order to support learning or any emotional, social or behavioural needs of any children
provide effective feedback to children and teachers including appropriate marking and record keeping to support the learning process
