We require a pleasant, hard-working, willing and helpful person who is a good problem solver, resourceful and adaptable.  You will have experience of practical and manual work, and have the ability to work both on your own and as part of a team.  

The post requires the successful candidate to work across both the infant and junior schools on the same site and as such the duties will be varied, but will include security, porterage, repairs and maintenance as well as a small amount of cleaning. 

The post is for 40 hours per week.  The successful candidate will need to be flexible and attend after school events to lock up and secure the site.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, therefore this post will be subject to a DBS check, health screening and references will be required.

Joydens Wood Infant School is a popular 3 form entry infant school with 242 happy and inquisitive children. We are located in northwest Kent, just inside the M25. We are very close to the motorway networks and a few minutes drive from Bluewater Shopping Centre. Our leafy site is in a quiet residential area, but close to semi-rural green belt spaces. We share our large site with Joydens Wood Junior School, an academy like ourselves which is part of the NEXUS Educational Schools Trust.
