We are seeking a professional, calm and well organised school administrator to join our amazing team at our  school in Ashford. You will be a good communicator and have good ICT skills particularly in the use of MS Word and Excel. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders including parents/carers and social workers often handling sensitive information, and you will be able to act with confidentiality and integrity. You will often be the first point of contact in the school through answering telephone calls, emails or written correspondence and will be able to prioritise and manage these contacts in a timely manner.

This is a fast-moving, dynamic environment and a can-do attitude is essential. You will be responsible for pupil admission, SCR, attendance reporting and other school administrative systems. A knowledge of HR procedures would be useful.

Previous administration experience and attention to detail is essential.  The role is 8.00am to 4pm daily, and can be full-time or pro-rata for term-time only.  Salary dependent upon skills and experience.

Information about the school

Cornfields school in Ashford and Belle Vue School is in Cranbrook. Both are small and nurturing specialist school with a maximum of 50 and 60 pupils respectively at each school. Our schools are calm, quiet and orderly settings where pupils can be supported to develop academically and emotionally. The schools are graded outstanding.
