                                                                        Caretaker

 Caretaker required….  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Caretaker to join Langton Green.

 A vacancy is available September 2022, for a suitable skilled, reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our friendly and dedicated team.

 Duties will include general maintenance of the building and grounds, hygiene control across all areas of the school, general security and site safety and some cleaning as required.  You will be a key holder for the site, and some unsocial hours may be occasionally required.

 The applicant is likely to have had previous experience of premises and general maintenance, should be physically fit, enjoy working as part of a team in a school setting and be a confident communicator. There will be a need for good time management, to prioritise duties and work on their own initiative. The successful candidate will ensure our school site is maintained to the highest standard to offer all our children the best learning environment both indoors and out. The applicant will work closely alongside the Site Manager.

 Pay grade KS4 - £19389 pro rata approx. £18340

This is an all year round post, 35 hours per week, 25 days holiday.

Monday – Friday 7am to 2.00pm.

- shorter Hours can be agreed for the right candidate

Langton Green Primary School, situated just west of Tunbridge Wells, is a 2-form entry Community Primary School which gained "Outstanding" at their last Ofsted inspection.

The are a great team of hardworking, conscientious individuals who are rightly proud of their high standards and the friendly atmosphere which is evident in the school.
