SCHOOL SITE MANAGER

 (Full time permanent position)

37 hours a week (or could be a Job Share)

(Suggested timings as follows:-

Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 10:30am & 1:30pm to 6pm

Friday 7:30am to 10:30am & 2pm to 6pm)

 

Kent Pay Range (£20,595 - £21,693)

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable and proactive Site Manager.   The successful candidate will need to be flexible, self-motivated, have good communication skills and a good understanding of the health and safety requirements.   Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous, but is not essential. 

 

Duties include:

  • Health and Safety management
  • Security of Site including Key holder responsibilities
  • Managing cleaning staff
  • Ordering resources
  • Carrying out basic building repairs and scheduled maintenance
  • Record keeping
  • Statutory testing and recording

We are a thriving, high performing, rural primary school nestled in the village of St Margaret’s at Cliffe.

With capacity for 210 children, we attract families from within our village and other nearby villages, as well as the local towns of Deal and Dover.

Our pupils achieve well and make good progress – academically and socially – during their time with us. We make good use of our extensive grounds and the local community to further enrich our curriculum.
