PART-TIME ASSISTANT CARETAKER

Maypole Primary School is looking to appoint an Assistant Caretaker to be responsible for the security of the establishment and provide a cleaning and general maintenance service. 

Days and hours:

MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 4.30PM TO 6.30PM - 10 HOURS PER WEEK - TERM TIME ONLY

Additional work may be available during school holidays for decorating, larger maintenance projects and deep cleaning.

Main duties:

Maintain the security of the premises by closing the premises.

Assist with general cleaning and tidying of the premises, such as sweeping/cleaning floors, emptying bins, cleaning toilets etc., to ensure a tidy appearance is maintained.

Undertake general repairs and maintenance around the establishment, inside and out, to ensure the site is a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
