Love to Learn - Learn to Love

Sedley’s Church of England Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, positive and committed Teaching Assistant to join our valued team.  We are ideally looking for someone who has experience of working within a primary school setting with understanding of a range of need.

This position is for 32.5 hours per week term time only (39 weeks) which includes a role as midday supervisor, Kent Range 3 - £19,293 per annum (actual pro-rata £14,576.25 per annum).

We are a caring, nurturing and ambitious community that work together to achieve the best possible outcomes for all. Every child is valued and encouraged to meet their full potential of being an independent and confident learner. We aim to provide a curriculum that is creative in its approach and underpin this with first hand experiences to ensure that we create lifelong learners. These experiences along with our core Christian values allow the pupils at Sedley’s to develop not only academically but also morally, physically and spiritually. Our pupils are taught from a Christian perspective, which includes respect and tolerance of the beliefs of others. It is for this reason that a child does not have to be from a Christian background to benefit from all that Sedley’s offers.

We truly believe that our pupils grow and develop into confident and articulate young people that are ready to move on to the next step of their educational journey and life beyond. If you are looking for a school that fosters all these important values, along with an opportunity to nurture your career aspirations in a supportive environment, then look no further.

We can offer:

  • The opportunity to work with a range of amazing young people.
  • A friendly and supportive community.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A fantastic opportunity to be a part of our ongoing journey!

If you think you could be part of our unique setting, then we look forward to receiving your application!

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
