We are looking for a part time Inclusion Manager. The successful candidate will ensure that our SEND provision is of the highest standard and continue to support us being inclusive schools. 

We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive school community where each pupil is given opportunities to experience success.  We have a proven track record of ensuring that our learners, whatever their needs, leave us with the knowledge, skills and understanding to support them in the next stage of their learning.

The schools both share high expectations and aspirations for our school communities. The successful candidate will work closely with our families to ensure that their voice is heard. The role will be diverse and rewarding.

The successful applicant must:

  • Be an experienced, qualified teacher with QTS.
  • Hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination
  • Have experience of working with children with Special Needs

The successful applicant will also:

  • Model excellence while promoting a collaborative and caring atmosphere.
  • Demonstrate and articulate each school’s vision and exemplify each school’s values
  • Lead professional development through example and support; coordinating provision of high quality professional development through coaching and drawing on other sources of expertise as necessary to develop staff knowledge and expertise in working with SEND and vulnerable children.
  • Be enthusiastic; committed to improving educational outcomes for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Have strong collaboration skills to motivate, nurture, support teachers, parents and pupils.
  • Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing regularly with pupil progress, intervention impact analysis and highlighting changes and developments needed.
  • Work with and support parents / carers of pupils who are on the SEND or vulnerable register or LAC and liaise with external agencies hosting, attending and contributing to all statutory and non-statutory meetings.
  • Have experience of creating Educational Plans and writing Pupil Premium strategies and evaluations;
  • Have sound knowledge of the Mainstream Core standards.
  • Be responsible for High Needs funding bids and Pupil Premium Strategy Plans
  • Be a keen promoter of wellbeing for pupils and staff.
  • Show cultural awareness and ability to impact the school community by being engaging and visible

Information about the school

Aldington Primary School is a single form entry school located in the expanding village of Aldington. We have 190 pupils taught across 7 classes; providing a engaging, adventurous, learning journey for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years.

We have an excellent team of enthusiastic and dedicated teachers, support staff and governors. We work closely with our parents and community to provide quality education and exciting learning opportunities.

The school site is a picturesque one with many outdoor learning opportunities, including our own Forest School area. We also access many of the local areas of natural beauty to enhance our children’s learning.
