The Old Priory School is a small specialist Secondary Independent SEMH school based in Ramsgate, Kent.  The school has a maximum roll of 33 children across the five year groups  There is a high ratio of Teacher/LSA ratio to help our children access Education.  The school has a full-time SENCo and there is support from a Speech and Language Therapist.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Citizenship/ICT Teacher to work with our KS3 & 4 pupils.  The teaching needs to be ceative and exciting to engage and educate our children.

As an individual, the successful candidate needs to be resilient, energetic and enthusiastic in creating a fun learning environment for our pupils to begin to enjoy school and education.

A good understnding SEND, lesson planning assessment and the national curriculum is essenntial for the post.

Full references, including an enhanced DBS will be in place before commencing employment, with a proposed starting date of Sept 2022.

The Old Priory School - KS 3 & 4 (Years 7 - 11 Ages 11-16)

In addition, we have a dedicated Vocational Centre that support KS3 and KS4 student learning. Students at our vocational centre work towards recognised awards in a variety of skilled trades and professions, including City and Guilds, Asdan and AQA qualifications.

KS4 students are provided the opportunity to work towards GCSE's in English, Maths and Science.

We provide a high staff to student ratio to support learning and enable students to overcome their barriers to learning.
